Our commitments

• Accuracy first. We only state facts we can support with a reliable source, and we say clearly when evidence is limited.
• Balanced coverage. We include downsides, side effects, complaints and cheaper alternatives, not only benefits.
• Plain language. We explain research in terms anyone can understand, without exaggeration.
• No medical claims. We do not claim that any supplement diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents a disease.

Sources we use

We rely on sources in roughly this order of priority:

1. Systematic reviews, meta-analyses and randomized controlled trials published in peer-reviewed journals
2. Public health and government sources, such as the US National Institutes of Health and its Office of Dietary Supplements
3. The product's own label, official website and refund terms, for product facts
4. Independent customer feedback from review platforms, forums and social media

We do not treat a manufacturer's marketing claims as evidence. When we report what the brand says, we make clear that it is the brand's claim.

How we write and review content

Each article is researched and drafted, then checked for factual accuracy against sources, for balance, and for clarity. [Describe your actual review process here, for example: "All health content is reviewed by [name, credentials] before publication."]

We may use software tools, including AI writing assistants, to help with research, outlining and drafting. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a person before it is published, and a person is responsible for its accuracy.

How we rate products

Product ratings are based on five criteria: ingredient quality, strength of scientific evidence, safety profile, value for money, and the guarantee and buying experience. Each criterion is scored out of 5, and the overall score is the average. Ratings reflect our editorial judgment at the time of publication and may change as new information appears.

Testimonials and customer reviews

We clearly label testimonials that come from a brand's own materials. We do not write fake reviews, invent customer quotes or publish ratings we cannot support. When we summarize customer feedback, we include negative feedback alongside positive.

Independence and affiliate links

We earn commissions from some links on this site. Commercial relationships never determine what we write or how we rate a product, and no brand reviews or approves our content before publication. See our affiliate disclosure.

Updates and corrections

Every page shows the date it was last updated. We review key pages regularly and update them when prices, ingredients, policies or research change. If you spot an error, please contact us. We correct factual mistakes promptly and note significant corrections on the page.
